He has been involved in pharmaceutical research for over 20 years since joining Teijin. He studied for two years as a doctoral researcher at the Harvard Medical School and School of Dental Medicine (under Professor Roland Baron, specializing in molecular biology of bone and muscle). Additionally, as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Teijin Healthcare's new business, he was responsible for creating new businesses in the healthcare sector. In 2019, he founded NOMON Inc. and became its representative director and CEO.
